Anushka Shetty was born on November 1, 1981 in Manglore, Karnataka. She belongs to a renowned family in Manglore called bellipady family and is the only one sister of two brothers Dr. Sai Ramesh, a dentist, and Gunaranjan, a businessman.

She studied in Banglore and attended famous Mount Carmel College to study Computers and got BCA degree from Banglore University. Though she held from the family of Doctors and Engineers, she eventually ended up learning Yoga from famous Yoga Guru Bharat Thakur, and soon become a Yoga instructor.

Movie Career

Nicknamed as Sweety Shetty, Anushka is a popular name in Tollywood and Kollywood industries. Her debut film was Super (2005), directed by Puri Jagannadh and she co-starred with Akkineni Nagarjuna, Ayesha Takia, and Sonu Sood. Her acting in Vikramarkudu earned huge appreciation from youngsters. Her other successful roles are Rendu, Stalin, Vikramarkudu, Asthram, Mahanandi, and starred opposite to many famous Tollywood and Kollywood actors.Anushka is a bombshell with beauty and talents, and it is more interesting about her that she has even performed playback singing for many Tamil and Telugu films.
